It's a home tie, a few games in at the start of the season so players should be peak fitness/sharpness, so relatively full strength. Even if that means starting the likes of Muto with Joelinton on the bench or pushing Richie further forward and Willems at LWB.
Darlow Krafth Fernandez Francilette Willems Ki M Longstaff Scott Muto Aarons Gayle That's how I would probably go. Though I'd be tempted to pick Colback over Ki as he will actually run and attempt to tackle people.
Yeah I don't mind sticking with a 3. I just thought it might be a good idea to have another strong to the bow by practising a 4 in a match situation.
I see that but this squad can only just manage the current one. Don't want to over complicate it especially if we are using the back up players. They need to practice the main tactic for when a purple player is injured/ suspended/ can't be arsed
anyone know how many will be attending tomorrow ? just drove along Strawberry Place and seen a queue standing outside the ticket office unless it was a busload of Japanese tourists stopping off to take a photo of SBR statue
I like the Ritchie idea, if Willems is what people think he is then it's win win. I suspect Shelvey will play, so 2 decisive ball players in midfield might be interesting. Albeit, Ritchie on the right is his strength, and I don't think that works with Krafth. I'm also of the play your best team school here, but that's not the modern way.
If you're oppressed long enough, you become used to poor conditions. This thread spells it all out beautifully. Mike Ashley has killed the joy of Cup competition, because we KNOW that the Manager is TOLD to prioritise the Premier League and, as usual, the Newcastle United squad isn't anywhere near good enough to compete. Enjoy the game, people!
Are leicester taking the cup serious ?? Hope not or were out given our injuries and im sure tired legs.
I think that's Iranian telly. Dunno if this is the same thing... https://www.livefarsi.com/live-tv/varzesh-tv.html
How is it only on Iranians telly? The damn lincoln city game is on espn here in the states. What a crock.
