Chelsea want Tiote

You can read it on pretty much any sport site. Chelsea are lining up Cheik Tiote.

I personally think he'd be better off here. He could be the next Essien, but hopefully for us, not Chelsea. And why would he go to Chelsea to be a bench warmer? I think he's an excellent player, but i can't see him getting in over Essien, Lampard or Malouda.

I'd personally like to see Tiote's contact extended from 3.5 to 5.5 years. However, if he does go, atleast we'll get a good price for him. I know we need the players more, but i personally think we should let Tiote go for no less than 12 million.

Please **** off Ancelotti.

 

Thing is Essien is his idol and will the temptation of playing with his role model be that so he leaves toon :/

 

Ancelotti will most likely be sacked at the end of the season. Im not worried. Yet.

If and only if Tiote expressly wants to leave, then I'd demand 30mil minimum, he will be one of the finest players to grace the premier league at this rate and is so much better at his job than Carroll is at his, so his value should be similar.

If we demand 30-40 million for our players then that will put off the big clubs from trying to buy him. Unfortunatley it won't put off the clubs who think they are big like Spuds and Liverpool

 

he will go to chelsea as he is good friends with drogba (who told him to come to us)

 

in an ideal world tiote will have seen how much the fans love him here and will want to help the club
in reality we can never know - look at carroll
all we can do is hope
