Reading between the lines it appears to be frustration from Milinkovic about not getting in the team. No point having a sulky sack hanging around.
Up to now I've not seen anything to suggest he's got whats required. That said with Turbo and Bowen still around it's no great surprise.
Presumably, Scotland's transfer window is still open, so Hearts, where he was on loan before, were showing interest a while back to take him again. I guess there is a possibility there.
“Others are ahead of him at the moment, it’s as simple as that. David is a good player, you saw it in the Tranmere game. “David is the sort of character that wants to play but I’ve got 11 players each week who are disappointed not to be in the team. “They all work hard every day to try and get in the team so we’ll try and find David a club to go and play.” McCann added: “It’s important that David plays now. He hasn’t played for a year now. He didn’t kick a ball last year. “I don’t want to be keeping him in and around the place if he’s not playing games and he gets upset. “I’d rather he went out and get games. He’s a good boy, he comes in every day and trains, but it’s important that he plays games. “I don’t want to be keeping people for the sake of it if there’s others in front.”
Interpreted as, unexpectedly I've still got Turbo and Bowen at the club, so we'll move him off the wage bill on loan. In which case he'll be back come January possibly

With Grosicki certain to leave in January if not before why are we letting our only other left winger leave on a free. The Hearts fans have seen a lot more of him than we have and the vast majority seem to think highly of him. And why has McCann switched from positive to negative so quickly ??? Without Grosicki our attacking threat will be vastly reduced, even more so when Bowen inevitably moves on. Bowler has not shown much to date.
Good question . Maybe he is expecting Grosicki to stay ? Without Grosicki and Bowen you can't see where our attacking threat is.
From what little I've seen of Bowler (admittedly not a great deal) 'he' has a lot to do get in the starting 11. Milinkovic has gone from training brilliantly, great attitude, to, lets get shut as soon as we can. What if Bowen or Groiswicki were injured .... and where does the two player for every position rule stop at Milinkovic...
Completely sensible move One striker who can’t score One striker who is banned Best loan out your other one...
