We play our cup team. They play their cup team. Our cup team is good. Their cup team is less good. 2-1 us.
The first KFC shop in the UK outside of North America was opened in Preston in 1965. The first recorded use of the phrase ‘teetotal’ was at a Preston Temperance Society meeting in 1833. The City’s bus station was at one point the largest in Europe. The Preston By-pass, which is now part of the M6, was built in 1958 and was the first British road to be built to motorway standards. It was a little over eight miles long and ran from Bamber Bridge to Broughton. Butch Cassidy was from Preston, and had a Lancashire accent. It was the first UK town to be lit by gas. Some of the pipes were made from musket barrels. It has the UK’s longest row of red phone boxes. The Bond bug was created in Preston. I'd love to win this. I'm concerned about the team's confidence after another poor start to the league season. Eaves should start for me, to give him another chance to get into some sort of form, Magennis will get other chances. In 1854, Charles Dickens visited Preston to research a mill-workers' strike. In Hard Times, his only novel set in the north of England, Preston became the fictional Coketown. As Dickens would have travelled by train, his opinion of the bus station is unrecorded. Andrea Camilleri, creator of Inspector Montalbano, wrote a comic novel, The Brewer of Preston. Spoiler: it's not about brewing and it's not about Preston.

I'm not sure. He played 90 minutes on Saturday and will have to again this Saturday. As shown by Fleming fading on Saturday it is very important the full backs have a full tank.
Aye, but Bobby Parker taking after his dad and talking like Fred Dibnah while knocking about with Harry Longabaugh is funnier and less romantic than Butch and Sundance. Preston are claiming him anyway. https://www.lep.co.uk/news/latest/ey-oop-butch-was-a-lancashire-outlaw-1-81953 It says a lot about Preston that this was the Shangri-La they up sticks to. Expecting wholesale changes, as Ernie said the players starting will have a point to prove, so expect a good performance. I hate Alex Neil, he's a twat, so 2-0 City. P.S' The grandson's going, so hoping for a win.
It's a shame no bugger's there to read them. https://www.not606.com/threads/preston-north-end-v-hull-city-deepdale-27-8-19.376934/
