£30m wouldn't be a bad deal for Spurs considering the situation

Seems like Eriksen is quickly becoming a negative influence at Spurs. When a player wants out, you just need to move them on.

£30m would be a kick in the nuts given how much he'd be worth with a long contract. I bet Levy's bollocks have retreated right up inside knowing he's going to get gaped over eriksen.

We seem to be copying Arsenal's model with regard to top players. :bandit:<whistle>

They’re trying to change their ways though by offering Guendouzi a new deal.

Only problem with this though is that no **** will ever want him, just like Ozil.

Thankfully we've now ditched that awful practice of letting players run their contracts down.

Whereas Spurs seem to just be getting started with it :)

Another debacle for the beleaguered Spuds and their fat Argy at Arsenal today. Coasting 2-0 then went all #Spursey and ended up hanging by their fingernails. All this coming on the back of a dry humping at home to lowly Newcastle. Oh Dear!

Sorry mate, this thread is solely about the ongoing Spud spiral. Looks like we both squandered a 2-0 lead against **** teams.<whistle>

Nothing like, one team is going into the season with a novice manager and no chance of buying players, the other with a manager in his 6th year and having just got all the players he requested.

Sheffield played really well yesterday, I am impressed with them and was all last season.

One team was playing Arsenal away and the other, newly promoted Sheffield United at home.

Yeah you’re right they’re not alike.

Actually SU did very well in the 2nd half and that resilience will be enough to keep them up.
