I'm happy. 2 draws and 3 wins. A draw against Ipswich away is a cracking result. The only disappointment was against Oxford. I can't honestly fathom why some are still criticising JR.
Furthermore, we (hopefully) are about to have access to further funds with the new ownership. The difference here to when both Drumaville and Ellis bought the club is that Drumaville were persuaded as mates of Sir Niall to step in on a false promise. Ellis was sold a pup and didn't know about football. I get the impression here that Stuart and Charlie aren't selling their stake to the first buyer and want to ensure that the foundations they have laid down won't be ruined through malpractice and poor governance.
Whether the new strategy is Big Bang or solid improvement with cash fed in at the right time - we'll have to wait.
I, for one, am more excited and happier with where we are since the Peter Reid days.

We have a cracking stadium, cracking fans, cracking attendances, a cracking balance sheet, and players who want to play for the shirt.

    Glass totally full

Should have had 5 or 6 today though, when they scored i thought smash and grab raid, our defence needs to get stronger though but exellent performance and Grigg needs to score soon. I would get Gayle and Grabban plus a 6' 5" defender in January if we get money off our possible new owners.

How dare you insinuate that Jack Ross is to thank for today. The players were to thank. When we lose or draw it’s Jack Ross. When we win its despite him!!!

Just watched the highlights, obviously didn’t see the whole game but I really feel like our forwards are totally different this year, last season it was painful, yesterday both Wyke and Grigg could have grabbed one from chances made, sad for both that they didn’t score, but makes a nice change to see them getting into the right places, fighting for the ****ing ball, and having a real go. Won’t be long until Wyke, and Grigg too, start/continue to add to their seasons tally.

Wyke is ramming the abuse down a lot of people’s necks.

Immense again. He gives defenders nightmares. He will be massive this season for us.

Sometimes it is better to take on the difficult brown instead of the easy pink. More rewarding

I was a critic, though not abusive, but he’s won me over. Much improved on last season and looks much more menacing. Last term he seemed to be intent on looking for CB and trying to buy free kicks but no longer. Guess he was injured/unfit to play the way JR wants to but like I say he’s doing it now and won me over. Hopefully he stays fit and build on his great start to the season

This is why we’re often discussing not scapegoating on here.

Remember Marcus Stewart? He was dog **** first year then fired us to promotion and left very highly regarded.

    Things can turn.
