Agreed - but by being ponderous in our build ups in the first half, it helped them get bodies behind the ball. That said, 3 more points!
Still a very young team lads, there will be improvements as they mature and get savvy, Ayew looks PL quality, along with Baston, surely we can have a great season, if we can keep these two fit and off the treatment table, and off the transfer market............
Most one sided 3-0 ever, played one of the best performances that I have seen for a while. If we get through this transfer with Bastón and Eyew still here, I will really start to believe!
I thought overall it was the best we've played ,against Monks disciple Cloet 5 across the back was always going to take time to break down but we did and with style with not only the result but more headaches for Cooper regarding team selection Wednesdays game is going to be interesting for all sorts of reasons
Anyone else notice that Ayew stayed on the pitch and clapped all sides of the Liberty? I’d be more worried if he had been waving, but.....
It's anybody's guess at this point.... best we consult the sage 90210, that kid knows his onions. Sorry, I meant 55282.
Best performance of the season so far and i was not worried one bit when we went in 0-0 at HT as i knew a goal was coming and when it did then Brum fell apart and had to open up....6 shots on target with zero shots against showed we were in command and were never going to lose......More of the same against Leeds please...
Against the same 5 teams (& the same venues) we’ve played so far, last season we secured 5 points compared to 13 points this season. Last season we drew at home with Hull & Brum, lost at both Derby & QPR. We beat Preston on both occasions at the Liberty
We were saying at the game yesterday, wouldn’t it be funny if, at the end of the season, we passed him on the way up, as he was on the way down......
