I cant remember him in the Burnley game, think i think i've blocked the last half hour out in my memory. Can't even remember when he came on. But he made some cracking passes to the fullbacks against Koln. Hoping he does more of that.
I also think Boufal is a confidence player - much like Redmond (was?). If he had a couple of good games and felt we were on his side, I am pretty convinced we'd have one hell of a season from him. Redmond seemed to improve once he had a couple of good games and we got off his back.
Apparently we're interested in this fella for QPR, a possible signing in Jan. Looks a great prospect.
Three points on Sat was massive, but close behind was Boufal's reaction for me. He looked so pumped, and he looked so excited with the assist. Loved his celebration, and him hearing his song will be such a boast. I think he's going to force his way in. I think we have awoken the beast. Soooooooooooooo excited. (was going to write about Moussa as well, but I'll save his lovely reaction for the next time he scores!)
Yep, we might finally have the player that we hoped for that Puel signed before his unlucky injury hit start and then his troubles with Pellegrino and Hughes. It's a fresh start for him, the club and I hope the fans too... And him highly motivated and having a point to prove can only be positive.
Rumour has it Ely had a medical at an unnamed European club today ............hope he passed it and shines wherever it is.
Not only do we nick their best players, we have now decided Celtic is our dumping ground for our rejects.
Hope he does well there. His last season remains on one of the weirdest I can remember seeing from a player: at Basel, he looked like a drop-in replacement for Tadic. At Saints, he looked like a drop-in replacement for a missing fence post.
