It was an important city long before those things. In the 14th century it was one of the 3 most important and populated cities outside of London, Bristol, York and, needless to say Norwich.

I constantly feel the need to apologise to the fans of other clubs for Hull’s part in the cruel and painful slaughter of all those beautiful whales.

I congratulate you on putting aside your principles when we played Liverpool and Everton.

To quote Bonio of U2 , it's a beauiful day...possibly even too beautiful as its very high 20s out there now..

Parkers has some kind of mobile disco lorry booming out music across West Park. (Music mainstream 70s/80s pop/rock with 'Stars on 45' beat underneath) , and City flags fluttering proudly in the breeze, Bravo Parkers......

Extinction Rebellion have 'decorated' the footbridge over the railway line near Argyle St . Hopefully the ozone layer layer will not have been depleted in their doing this.

Otherwise the poorly maintained KCOM looks as good as it can do in the August sunshine.

Come on City beat these ****s.

I almost felt the need to boycott the Barnsley fixture last season- they have never fully acknowledged or apologised for their prominent role in fossil fuel extraction, which now threatens global climates.

We must hold them to account.

After Tuesday's clueless second half performance I'm expecting another goalless (for us) loss 0-2 against a much better team than Blackburn. McCann seems determined to stick with two full backs, Kingsley and McKenzie, who are way out of their depth in the Championship, so Bristol will attack down the wings from the start and I expect an early goal. Just hope Lichaj and Elder make quick recoveries.,and Bowen/Grozitski get better support from mid-field. Prove me wrong lads !!!

I went to Uni in Bristol and have a soft spot for Bristol Rovers.
Best City in England in my humble opinion.
With regards to Bristol City horrible club with even worse fans particularly the ****s from Bedminster.
A bit like those from East Hull webbed feet and hands that let the City down.

Don't forget to add it into the database. You'll get good points for that.

Pretty good game so far, fair score at the moment IMO, Bowen took his goal well. Could have been 2-0 down but Burke cleared off the line, 3 minutes later we got the equaliser.
