I haven't seen it in a long time. I was banned from their board about 4 years ago.
Its pretty cringeworthy that they have created a thread dedicated to us though. It takes obsession to a whole new level!

Word around the campfire is that these people are serious and will find ways of pumping cash into the club.

These people have top lawyers who will relish taking on the football authorities ...

... not much of a challenge tbh.

he is a few quid ahead of me then about 37.5 billion. fantastic news news though, i can't wait for Ronaldo to turn up at the training ground if the owner is quick we might get Bale. With that money i would buy every building in the surrounding area and relocate them, build a massive multi storey car park, extend the SOL to 70,000 and give the manager £1 billion to spend, have a rail system that drops you right at your stand, escalators in as well. And all you 606's would be in the directors box as my guests. Oh and give Bury and Bolton £5m each straight away.

No offence but you sound like a six year old.

Why don't we get a unicorn to manage us and Disney princesses to fly about before kick off to sprinkle us with lucky fairy dust.

These investors have no association with the club and see us as a business opportunity to get returns on their investment. Don't expect them to be sugar daddy donors as you will be disappointed.

Are you saying that there are many club owners that are in it for reasons other than financial?

Chelsea and Man City owners have spent countless millions without expecting a return, but these are the exceptions rather than the rule..

It's not common is it. I think when people realise that the Dell guy isn't involved they won't expect us to be a trillionaires plaything and will accept it for what it is.

For the new investors to make any money on their investment in us realistically we would need to be in the Premier League as there is very little money where we are now and not a great deal better in the Championship - if they have been doing their research correctly they should know that to get us from where we are now to a point where they can expect to take a decent income from their asset they will need to invest further. If they are happy to do that then that will do for me!!

The investment being put into Wolves over the past two to three seasons doesn't seem to be doing them any harm.
I'd happily follow the model they are using.
Whilst nothing is definite until the ink is dry on the contract can we not be happy in the warm glow news like this has come to the club as we don't get many days like this.

One thing that’s certain is this band of mega successful fella don’t want to own a League One club.

They want to own a Premier League club, and that’s what they will make us. I’m all for them doing this in a controlled and stable manner. We tried scattergun with Ellis and look where it got us.

Remember this as well, powerful fellas like that, the 20th richest man in the world, imagine the sponsorships and endorsements he can bring, likely they won’t need to spend their own money they will have associated businesses left right and centre.

That’s gold, for all we know City cook the books, there is an element of reality in the Etihad hook up, there’s an actual deal in there as well, that’s due to tie ins with the owners.

I’m not thinking ‘yey, here comes Mbappe and Co’ I’m thinking ‘thank **** the clubs safe and we have the finances to get back to where we belong’.

If we are looking for a club this has a look about, it’s Leicester. I’m not talking about the freak title winning year, I’m talking about having smart ownership who have continuously and constantly invested, building a smashing club that the fans are proud of, and establishing them as a very good, respected side in the Premier League.

We are theoretically a bigger club than Leicester, but I’d be delighted with being seen as a genuine top 6 contender, that would do me.

I’d be happy to be a Leicester.
