Afternoon all 1-55 Flippa the Strippa. Have been impressed by her and whilst it's s huge step up I'll keep the faith if only because if she does get in the frame I would kick myself for not backing her... Good luck everyone.
good call, mate! york,2 25: these 2 year old races are often fiendishly tough to work out,and this is no exception.SHOW ME SHOW ME,though, makes some appeal here,as although he couldnt win again after his debut win,he mostly ran with great credit afterwards,in some tough races, and especially his last run was very good.so,if in that vein of form today,is a definite player..
I have Mum's Tipple in 2 x ew doubles with Qaysar and Blackheath - both in the next. Dutching is not something I'm a fan of but quite pleased with this now that MT has gone in Of course it's all to no avail unless one or both perform well ..... Ron: you are still leading in the comp - sorry about the mix up (not really!)
Astonishing from Mum's Tipple. I can't quite recall anything like that to be honest. As ever the Lowther was about speed and Liberty Beach had too much to make up with Living In The Past. Done Kynren at 5/1 and that's unoriginal but he seems sure to go very close. 3.00 Kynren 5/1
stratford,3 50: his form under rules is nothing to shout about, but HIGH HATTON has really taken off in the pointing field this season.so,if just as effective now under rules,he can be very competitive off this low mark.
The Racing Post gave Mum's Tipple 119 for his win and even that looks an underestimate if you consider that the runner up was given 81 today, compared to 95 last time out. Rayong has run to 95 on RPR's twice and has an Official Rating of 98, so giving him 81 is assuming he has run well below his best in second place today. The winning time was a second and a half faster than the Lowther and Mum's Tipple carried 5 lbs more. Introduced at 12/1 for the Commonwealth Cup and the Guineas at 12/1 it would be an unusual route to the latter race but his rating of 119 is 1lb higher than Earthlight in the Prix Morny and only 2 lbs behind Guineas favourite Pinatubo.
