That looks like it would probably work best with a hardboiled egg - less chance of the firer ending up with egg on his own face
"The Bullingdon Club is an exclusive and covert all-male dining club for Oxford University undergraduates, although it is not officially recognised by the institution. It is noted for its wealthy members, grand banquets, boisterous rituals, and somewhat destructive behaviour, including the vandalisation of restaurants and students' rooms; with many local outlets refusing to host the club upon these grounds. The club is known to select its members not only on the grounds of wealth and willingness to partake but also by means of education; with undergraduates from top colleges such as Christ Church and Magdalen who formerly were pupils at elite Public Schools such as Eton, Harrow, Radley, and Westminster making up the majority of its membership." Two of the last three PMs and a COTE have been members of this highly exclusive club of which a prerequisite of membership is to be extremely wealthy. Surely even the notoriously gullible UK electorate will recognise that it is not representative of the country as a whole and that they are likely to be motivated by looking after the interests of their own top 5% richest of the population, male and white. Pig head ****ers the lot of them...
When I become a billionaire, I shall develop an empathy ray gun. Everyone who seeks to hold a position of power must first be subjected to the ray gun to ensure that they govern for all their constituents, not just their own narrow niche.
Tbf to him I don't think that Corbyn would need any empathy ray although that top 5% (including the billionaire you!) might feel a bit left out.... I still think that Corbyn's leadership has run its' course though.
I'm afraid that too many of that electorate have been convinced that however **** it is under this lot of hoorahs who don't give a toss for them, it would be worse being governed by a party that at least tries to do the right thing for the people ? Don't ask me, I gave up rationalising it years ago I work with older people who bemoan the poor state of the NHS and Social Care services and then dutifully go out and elect another bunch of tories I see a lot of Daily Mails on coffee tables too
This is actually one of the trends of recent years that makes me so angry I could, literally, shoot someone. I have seen 66 year old nurses in hospitals trying to cope with difficult patients, and knowing they have another year or so to go before they can retire. Just because people are living longer doesn’t mean they are necessarily capable of doing physically or mentally demanding jobs like they did in their prime. Let everyone who wants to retire at 60 on a full pension, and pay for it by making the super-rich pay their ****ing taxes.
Well exactly. Nobody was all that bothered about the EU until they decided to pass the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive in 2014, which led to the vast sums of cash flowing into UKIP, and then the Leave campaign, much of it illegally. The ATAD becomes law this year, which makes leaving this year important for those who it affects (about 0.1% of the population). Meanwhile, the UK has the lowest state pension out of the richer countries in the EU.
