    Two points thrown away there.

We were outstanding in the first half, but couldn’t turn our good football into goals. Every player was a 9 or 10.

I thought we faded in the second half after the substitutions. That’s 4 games now without a clean sheet, and I wonder if Ben Amos might come in sooner rather than later.

Bow got his timing wrong; had he waited until after the corner, the outcome could have been so different. As mentioned, brilliant first half, faded second and lost the routine that served so well in the initial 45. Will we be better with Kayal and Hemed; where would they have played? Gallagher and Cullen need a break.......

Great first half, some of the best passing football I have seen from a Charlton side in years. Forest came back well in the second half and deserved their equaliser. Good to see the Valley rocking. I didn't think that Phillips did much wrong. Impressed with Oztumer and Field did a job shielding the back four.

The tackle on Oshi mid way through the second half was (as supported by the crowd) a STRAWBERRY not a LEMON

Leko wasn't the same after he got clattered. His miss probably cost us the win. Cullen tired a bit second half.
Looked terrible from the NW. Oshilaja had a very good game, defensively and
Attacking. 5'3" will have to be used as cover in case of injuries.

The tackle by Field deserved a sending off as well. I have just watched it on TV, he was a lucky boy. Lee Bowyer has got a bit of a selection dilemma. Williams or Oztumer? Hamed or Leko or Aneke, Need to find a place for Kasal. Pratley has played well this season. Field did well in a defensive position.
It is wonderful that we have got these selection dilemmas.

The first half was a bit special, the way we played, and I wondered if we were in for a really special night. The second half we faded towards the end, and I Think this was a lot to do with the amount of work Cullen did in the first half. He was everywhere, ran the midfield, but also took several heavy challenges and couldn't keep up this sort of pace for 90 minutes. It's good that Bowyer has selection dilemmas, because he will also be ensuring he keeps the players fresh.

We seem to be playing a high pressure pressing game this season. The tempo is much faster.

When the team was announced I was taken aback by the changes, I did say that Bowyer did get things right, so whatever he did was okay by me. And so it proved. Bowyer is our greatest asset, he makes good management sound simple. Murray's glory days were when he got Curbs and kept him, if he had any influence he would have a word in Douchatelet's ear about utilising your assets, ie getting Bowyer on the contract he deserves.
