Not a joke in the strictest sense, just a reaction to the shocking moral compass/sense of justice in some.

A bloke near me got sentenced this week.

Over the drink driving limit. Almost crashed into police coming the other way who turned round to pull him over. He sped off through a village at over 80mph, wipes out an 18 year old lad in the road who had no chance of getting out the way with such force he ended up high in a tree. Drink driver not only speeds off but ditches his car, rings his wife to pick him up and then gets here to drive past so he can have a look.

    4 years.

There is no justice system in this country.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Hull student Libby Squire.

Libby went missing in the early hours of February 1 this year and her body was found at Spurn Point seven weeks later on March 20.

Police have been investigating the 21-year-olds murder since, and have today (Wednesday) confirmed they have arrested a 25-year-old man in relation to her murder.

University of Hull student Libby was last seen just after midnight on Friday, February 1 on Beverley Road, close to the junction with Haworth Street.

An extensive search of the areas around her home on Wellesley Avenue was carried out and police confirmed the body of a woman found near Spurn Point was hers.

Police have been investigating Libby's death as a homicide.

    Investigation
University of Hull student Libby went missing in the early hours of February 1.

She was last seen at the junction of Haworth Street and Beverley Road.

After an extensive six week search the body of a woman was found at Spurn Point, which police later confirmed was Libby. Since then, they have been investigating as a homicide.

In May this year, police shared an update on the “complex” investigation and said a dedicated team of detectives from the force were working on the case to determine exactly what happened to Libby after she disappeared in the early hours of February 1.

Detective Superintendent Martin Smalley, who is leading the investigation, said at the time : “The integrity of the investigation remains paramount. Due to operational reasons, the results of the post-mortem examination were not released at the time it was concluded.

“As further tests have since been undertaken with results pending, details are as yet, unable to be released.

“Libby’s death remains, and is being investigated, as a homicide, with numerous inquiries, analysis and examinations continuing to take place as part of the investigation with assistance from search specialists as well as experts in forensics and oceanography to aid its progression.

“There is a dedicated team of detectives working on the investigation, which is both complex and protracted.

“We have to ensure we are meticulous with every aspect and detail covered and all the evidence available to us is comprehensively collated.”

Let’s hope they catch the right person, and that karma catches up with them.

You need to let the Mail online and the Sun know because they've both named him as the person arrested.

What has been the delay, letting the knicker sniffing and public ****ing justice run its course whilst gathering forensics or new evidence?

Justice has to be done of course. But the thing that always preys on my mind is that we can't bring her back. I mean we can't right a wrong like that. This is where my anger comes from.

I did wonder if it was the Polish guy and if somebody was only willing to come forward if they knew he couldn't get to them as that would tie in with getting arrested after getting sent down for all the pervy stuff

Whilst it may have no bearing on this case. Its on the day the Home Office, finally admit they've grossly underestimated the numbers coming here from the EU.

Where does it say that it is the same guy? All I can see is that a 25 year old has been arrested? Doesn't say it is the same person
