I think it's about how you interact with him, and what respect he has for you. Now with me, he knows I can press a button, whereas with you, as you say you don't really converse with him, so he has no reason/excuse to abuse you. I think he is no different to me in one sense, I react to people, by how they react to me.
Oh the irony from a so-called teacher who knows nothing about me whatsoever, I’m neither of those things that you mentioned.
The one difference though is I understand that joke, I'm not sure Matth does, if you say something to him, he takes it has litteral.
Which means, he has had or has a dominant figure in his life. That respect would have had to of come from some aspect of his life.
