Totally agree (except it isn't really just your idea).
This is the thing - solutions to vastly improve the situation are so bleedin' obvious, and easy.
But then again, no-one tells them how to run the best run club in the country.
(oh no, there I go again).

Well you might be right and obviously I hope you are, but they're not exactly queueing up are they? I agree that's probably mainly due to the asking price but I do wonder. If I were looking to invest in a Championship club with potential, I think I would want some evidence of a big fan base. If I thought 'they'll only come back if I've spent a shell load of money to get the club back into the Premier League', I'd be less convinced than if I thought the club was already generating income from 20,000 fans to help me fund the investment task.

There's no 'probably' about the lack of real intent to buy the club - it's all down to the overinflated value that the Allams have put on the club. No one buys a football club on a whim, any prospective new owners will know the history behind the gate numbers.

Also when you kick across yourself you cannot get the accuracy. He’s should just of smacked it to the left of the keeper...

It needs something like this. If the Allams aren't going anywhere they could still improve the situation by just showing a bit of positivity and a drive to make it happen. Ten years of them playing the club down, cutting costs, insisting that we can't afford this and can't do that, we're not near London, not attractive and all the rest of it, that has taken its toll. It desperately needs some of the energy Paul Duffen instilled with his "we're the 8th biggest City" stuff. He, like Pearson, exaggerated and played up the club, and why wouldn't you? But all the Allams know is streamlining and downsizing.

Just a simple ticket promotion with no strings attached would be a great start. Even just a "let's fill the ground for this one" type message from the club would be a start. It should be par for the course but it's so far removed from the attitude of the Allams it seems almost impossible.

How would they be aware ?
Nationally no-one gives a toss about an internal argument at Hull City. Internationally even less.
We will always be remembered as the club who couldn't sell their allocation for Wembley. The two visits earlier when we did mean nothing because everyone does.
I also think we are looked upon as set of fickle bastards, I was accused of exactly that by Leeds and Birmingham fans last season. They couldn't give a monkeys about our arguments with the owners. Its bums on seats, people in the ground and our ground looks ****e on the telly, which is what everyone sees, not the reason's behind the empty seats.
When Pearson was trying to find a buyer he inflated the crowds. He filled the empty seats with freebies.
    And it worked.
You could also say that any potential buyer might also think they could invest in this club and they could have exactly the same reaction from the locals that the Allams are getting.

i was thinking the same thing in the last match against Brentford. Eaves was in a good position but he chose to shoot, a pass to his left and it would hopefully of put us 2 up...

Tom Eaves. I think his problem right now is that is getting entangled in physical battles with centre backs that he needs to avoid. He is much more of a player than just a bruising hold up man, as his goals at Gillingham show, but he’s not yet shown any of that guile to roll a defender or beat him with trickery. It’ll come. Big pressure on a young mans shoulders right now.

7 years older than the average of a pilot during the Battle Of Britain. A year older than Guy Gibson, who led the Dambusters and who flew over 170 missions, was when he died. Oh, the pressure on such young 27 year old soldiers.

Fill that stand with school kids for one game and see what is made on food and drink (and there may even be a boost on merchandise too for that game). Give each of the Primary Schools in Hull a set of tickets (plus any schools linked to the Tigers Trust). School staff will do most of the stewarding for them.

What’s the harm in trying it for one game, even just for the positive publicity?

He’d played three games. Young by that measure.

Yeah it's certainly not working. He's getting involved in all that side of it and getting beaten consistently. Every free kick goes against him, which seems unlucky and unfair but it's probably indicative of him struggling and getting frustrated. He should have put us 2-0 up at Brentford too.

    Need I say it....'Typical City'….
Though I've given up going, I listened to Blunderside and gather City played well and on another day they would have won, but its just like City....Knowing City, they'll probably turn over Brizzle on Saturday.

What pills are people on that thinks 27 is young?

Presumably the likes of Best had old shoulders at 18.
