this is one game I think we can get a point from ………………… Derby County are looking to go five matches unbeaten in all competitions this season when they play Bristol City in the Championship on Tuesday night. The hosts are without loanee Jamie Paterson, who is ineligible to play against his parent club, while Graeme Shinnie, Duane Holmes, and Andre Wisdom are still recovering from injuries. City have defender Pedro Pereira back and will check on Adam Nagy (ankle). Marley Watkins, Saikou Janneh and goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa remain out. Match facts Derby have lost only one of their past 12 Championship matches against Bristol City (W6 D5), losing 4-1 at Ashton Gate in September 2017. Bristol City have won just one of their past 11 away league matches against Derby (D3 L7), with the most recent three meetings between the sides at Pride Park all ending as draws. Derby last failed to score in three consecutive home matches in all competitions back in September 2016, when they lost to Newcastle and Ipswich in the Championship, before a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the League Cup. Bristol City have only lost one of their past eight matches in all competitions played on a Tuesday (W5 D2), a 2-1 defeat at Birmingham City back in February. Only against Reading and Millwall (four each) has Derby striker Martyn Waghorn scored more English league goals than he has versus Bristol City (three), netting in each of his last two home matches against the Robins for Ipswich and Derby. Only Cardiff City (22) have used more players in the Championship across the first three matches this season than Bristol City (21). . .!

I was at that game, we was doing the conga not because we was winning. It was because Rovers got relegated from the first division that day.
Great half-time score and we need to strengthen up in the second half to keep Derby at bay. Interesting to see Fammy on the bench for the second game and time will tell if Lee has seen the light and decided to use him as an impact sub? Keep it going lads because this 3 points will lead us forward to a hopefully better place.
That one wasn’t for the feint hearted. Good win, when all I’ve heard on the news today was Derby could go top.
Last few minutes feverishly refreshing the BBC text commentary....sweaty palm time! Excellent result.
Great result, great team performance, what a tonic after all of the injury news, well done also LJ, top man.
well must say the first 4 looked to be a bit of a minefield 4 maybe 5 pts to end with 7 is a start that's an 80 pt total if we keep that up!
A very good defensive display last night. We still lack some creativity up front though. We will play a lot better than this and lose this season for sure. Still, we are 2 points up on where I thought we would be after the opening 4 games, so a good start.
all the way through the % of play never went above 43%... for most of the game we were down in the 30% 's A goal at 85 mins was a wake up call could lose 2 or even 3 pts ….!
It's ironic (and quite amusing) then that Sky dropped Derby like a hot brick, and showed the Sheff Wed v Wigan highlights first when they showed the Championship goals, with Derby v City goals being shown last of all.
Listening to radio today and sports news said Derby missed their chance by losing to us. Surely the position of the table should be read as Bristol City leapfrog Derby with a win at Pride Park or along those lines.
