A pity, since the European bid sounded good. So too did the Dalman bid. Prague described the Euro bid as being fronted by someone who was already involved with another community-based British club which was involved in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League. Sounded very much like Kilmarnock to me, but now we will never know.
Perhaps it was Connah's Quay Nomads? Their participation in the Europa Cup was longer than Kilmarnock's
Prague’s contact list of blue chip financiers is endless. Perhaps he could introduce de Turk to the Sultan of Brunei next ?
It's also clear I'm a terrible judge of a player. I was convinced he'd do an Ajose when he joined and didn't believe he'd step up this year either. Hopefully he'll stay until summer and leave on a free so Duchatelet gets nothing.
@DickPlumb please read this thread from start to finish then say to yourself, "Okay Elfs, I understand you"
Zenga on ITTV has revealed that the US consortium that RD sold Alcorcon to, were apparently interested in the idea of merging Charlton with Crystal Palace. I don't think these are the same Americans who are currently thinking of buying CAFC. The Yanks who bought Alcorcon apparently have a 20% stake in Crystal Palace. But it raised the interesting question of the merging of CAFC and CPFC to form a South London 'Superclub' with the potential to challenge the top 4 in the Premier League. How far would some fans be willing to go in order to see success on the pitch to rival that of Liverpool or Manchester City?
A merger with Crystal Palace no less. Sir,I detect a huge amount of bullshit. Imediate thought when reading this blasphemy. Kick cat through patio window.
He'd have some front I tell thee. Comes bowling in here. Bold as brass. Eating and sleeping under my roof, when all along he's a Nigel. Nah mate. Not on my watch.
