We're not in the Premier League anymore and I don't recall the other clubs involved in the live games having this bun fight between fans and the clubs owners.
Dack and being on sky that's my worry, we never seem to turn up when the cameras are at the KC, fingers crossed we break the sky curse tonight, 3-1 to city.
Last home game the atmospherics in E1 to E4/5 was a lot better then it has been for a long time. Then again someone posted on here that the atmosphere was crap at the South Stand end ? Depends where you are I suppose and what you expect from a crowd under 10,000 in a 25,000 capacity stadium ?
No player has had more shots in the Championship in the first three matches without scoring than Blackburn's Bradley Dack (12 - joint with Brentford's Sergi Canos). I hope he continues to miss, at least for tonight's match.
I don’t think anyone picked him up for the full 90 odd minutes. Frustrating and I’m surprised he’s still at Blackburn. He’s a decent player that I thought would have moved on in the window.
People often quoted the poor acoustics at the KC, roof too high and all sorts of things with full crowds. This 25,000 ground no roof has a good atmosphere. Maybe it has something to to with people not sat quietly contemplating the game as if they were at a theatre? Compare the best stand here to the West Stand. And, this was a friendly. Wonder if we will see similar scenes as their fans create at basketball?
The west stand always gets/ got stick on here, but when I was in the west stand upper we made plenty of noise, I sit in the east stand (6)now and apart from the usual few who try get the support going it's no better.
Often saw and heard people tutting and moaning at people in Upper West for disturbing their peace and quiet.
There were games other than the PL on, as there are every week and they don’t seem to find being on SKY makes any difference. When we were in the PL being on SKY was used as a reason for a less than full ground, along with it being a school night, saving up for Hull Fair, skint after Hull Fair, Easter, Xmas, away on holidays in August...
One of the may occasions when Henriksen was the best paid supporter in the ground while observing opposing players waltz away from him
I may be wrong but I thought he bagged a couple in their cup win ... so it's coming! Edit - just checked scores one in their 3-2 win over Oldham
They were really good all round when they played here last year, especially for 45 mins they battered us. Could have been us playing ****e tho , wasn't that the game where Nigel sounded suicidal and very Un - Nigel like after the game
Hoping to see more from Eaves tonight. I really think he's struggled in his two starts so far. Also wonder whether he might be tempted to change the midfield at all. Honeyman and Irvine must have spent plenty of energy at the weekend and Batty was unlucky to miss out.
Could just be down to confidence .. from reports his hold up play hasn't been that bad tbf and brings others into the game well .. but as yet I do t think he has scored while in the amber and black .. hopefully he gets a goal tonight and you'll see a different player
I'm working in London today/tomorrow. Anybody know any pubs around Fitzrovia/Tottenham Court Rd/Oxford St area that will be showing the City match? I asked Hull City Southern supporters group on Twitter a few days ago, but no response.
