So it's too soon to say he's crap, but a justifiable amount of time to say hes nowhere near as good as Rondon?
Rondon was far far worse at this stage last season. Never mind the selective memories, lets remember he turned up overweight and couldn't trap a bag of cement early doors. He was almost as lazy as Shola. Lets give him a chance.
Ill make it easier Id rather have rondon than joelington . Id rather have perez than max until he proves hes better factually. Id rather play manq than krap Id rather play ritchie than willems And Carrol is a pr stunt and id rather have gone with sorenson Were worse
It doesn't matter whether we are better than last season because of the way ww are run. It only matters if we are good enough for 17th place. I would say we are, but it might be closer than previous years.
Joelinton would have probably worked pretty well with Rondon. I have no issue with trying to buy players that may add value over time - it's basic business sense, right? But sometimes you need to make decisions that are better for the team regardless of profit. For the sake of 16.5 million (and wages), he might keep you up. I'm sure that's worth more...
I dunno, Watford fans might have something to say on that. They'll pull the trigger on their manager if they don't beat us, that's the difference between the two clubs at the moment.
