I notice Deeney is now attracting much more criticism on other Watford boards. Overall he has rather under performed in the last couple of years. Is it now time for him to lose the undisputed main striker's role?

  2. Well nobody can expect to keep their place in the team regardless of form - not that I'm suggesting Troy thinks that!
I guess Father Time us catching up with him and the way he plays must take it's toll on the body. The key question is - who are the two you'd (sorry you in general and not necessarily you personally) pick ahead of him?

Well Success and Okaka would be ideal replacements if they were either any good or fit enough to last a game
    .
Troy doesn't have the pace or power he once had or maybe even the intimidation !

He might link up better with Welbeck who can hold the ball up.

For all Deeney hasn't been great he still almost scored yesterday.

If Welbeck doesn't get up and running Deeney is the best we have.
