So game week 2. Can we carry on with another good performance? Should be a decent test this as let’s face it Chelsea are a busted flush.

We should win this one, I’d stick to the same side as last week though would like to see gomez and Chong make the bench and start with James rather than Lingard.

 

If we can win by a margin of one goal we go top of the PL for the first time since SAF was twelve.

 

Got a feeling we are going to drop points here.

Subs - Romero, Tuanzebe, Young, Chief's favourite player, Mata, Matic and Greenwood. Very disappointed to see none of the youngsters so far.

 

Tuanzebe and Greenwood are hardly ancient.

 

Let's get some consistency in the team and points on the board before we start putting youth players in. This is only the second game, there will be plenty of others for Gomes and Chong to get time on the pitch.

obi Wan-bissaka is a far, far better player than I thought he was, he has some kind of ball magnet in his feet when defending which means he always gets the ball.
his control and passing when on the ball has surprised me and his pace is amazing. Great addition to the team.

Pogba is crap. End of. He's half the player he thinks he is and there are few weeks left to get rid and get some movement into midfield in his place. I'm more than happy to to offer the gurning ****wit Lingard as a wake weight to make sure the deal happens. Our two worst players by a mile tonight - penalty aside.

 

He’s a brilliant player but he’s some ****ing prick. He pretty much embodies everything that is wrong about PL football.

 

Lingard has been crap all through pre-season. I watched every minute of every game and in every game he was poor - and he still is. Quite why Ole isn't putting out he players that he used to replace Lingard in pre-season, players that improved our game significantly is a mystery. As for Pogba (again) he was our most wasteful player, he gave the ball away in important areas of the pitch - an then there's the penalty ................
