The different between Owen Jones and Yer Actual Uber is Mx Jones hates everyone whose political standpoint is to the right of his. I just have a huge dislike of the little twat. My original comments about the left having a near monopoly on hate and intolerance still stand, Strolls. You only have to listen to that self-righteous smug bell-end’s opinions of conservatives (small c*) to feel his seething contempt. I don’t feel that same sentiment from anybody on the right (discounting the mad extremes of both left & right). It comes across in much of your comments about those with opposing views to your own too. (*go on, you can’t resist it, can you?)
I was listening to Majid Nawaz on LBC (giving us a welcome break from the excrable James O'publicschoolboy). He spent an hour having a go at the Tories and No Deal. Then the next hour, against Corbyn's policy on the EU. The racist texts that were coming in from Corbynites were disgusting. Nawaz read out some of the milder ones threatening violence against "Muslim boy". Truly disturbing
The BBC still shamelessly quoting that leaked document about the impact of a no deal, despite the fact that it is completely out of date. The levels of hysteria are reaching a deafening, screeching, hysterical crescendo. The cult of remain will do and say anything to prevent brexit. We're all doomed, doomed I tell yer.
I think you can only see it in those with opposing views to your own. It's a bit like Col and Goldie's 'BBC bias'.
