Just simply as I'm bored at work, a few selections from Catterick in the races PadPow is paying out on the 4th place...

    4:00 - Sophia Maria @ 14/1
    4:30 - The Stalking Moon @ 17/2
    5:00 - I'll Be Good @ 15/2

All have a bit of CD form plus have run well on soft and worse... Small e/w patent...<cheers>

Not a great day's racing. In the 4.15, as Grade One says Alameery would not need to be special to make a winning debut but the stable are 1/20 the past two weeks. Lady Bowthorpe was 5th last time up but the winner and the runner up both went on to win Handicap races next time out and it gives the form a solid look. Only 6/4 but she sets the standard.

I decided to double Lady Bowthorpe with Amelia R in the 5.00 Catterick. Amelia R hosed up the time before last and then ran a reasonable race from her new mark in a Class 5 race at Doncaster. Dropped back into class 6 this looks a lot easier race today and there is some scope there for a bit more yet. I thought she was backable at 9/2 in a contest where strong form is lacking. The Grey Zebedee is still a maiden and Amelia R is preferred.

    4.15 Lingfield Lady Bowthorpe 6/4
    5.00 Catterick Amelia R 9/2

Win double and will do a single on the latter if the former loses.
