Thought Praet did well when he came on. Jury still out on Perez.

Tielemans is class. I think the change in system hasnt helped. Last season there was always Gray, Barnes or Albrighton adding width. All of sudden were very narrow and there isnt that escape pass. I think if Rodgers wanted to play this system then he should have played Justin not Fuchs

Very interesting reading through the posts. You lot can be harsh. Chelsea started on fire after a tough week and yet only a mistake from us let them in. We grew into the game really well and with a bit better link play comfortably has 3 or 4 in the second half. Schmeichel had very little to do. Very good performance overall and with one or two more games together we will be much more clinical.

I cannot overemphasise how truly dire the first half was as the stats show with no shots on or off target and us not even having a touch in the Chelsea half for 15 minutes.

That we grew into the game and got a point was good but seriously that first half was probably the worst I've seen us play since we won the Premier League - we were outplayed all across the pitch, looked completely clueless and only Chelsea's inability to score was the reason we were only 1 goal down.

Excellent second half and we should have won with the chances. The frustration in the first half was fair though as we saw how we could dictate them and how poor they are in the second. It was definitely reminiscent of last season with the slow start. I’d definitely like to see us scrap the two defensive midfielder idea and have a Barnes or Albrighton further up. Praet looked good when he came on as well and the defence did after the first 10 minutes really. Fuch’s delivery is great as ever, age is showing in his ability to get up and down but he had a good game. Vardy was fairly quiet again but I’m sure he’ll have extra reason to want to bag next week!

We have to sort out the incredibly lethargic start ... that said, how enjoyable was that second half? ... really had them on the rack.

Special mention for Caglar Soyuncu ... keep it up son, looking very good.

I’ve been on holiday in Bali for both games on a +7 hour time difference so haven’t seen a thing over than scores and write ups on BBC. Soyuncu sounds class? Anything else stand out?

It stands out that teachers are paid way too much. Hope you had a good time in Bali.

Poor Ed. If any one in a profession deserves a holiday, it's a teacher. All those months cooped up with unruly brats deserves at least a week off somewhere nice.

It was another Ed typo. He actually went to Bala in Wales, which strangely also has a 7 hour time difference.
