    New manager?
Isit too late for new ideas in terms of playing style?
Today was alarmingly bad. In Warnock we trust...or do we?

Etheridge and Bamba returning will be key.

Problem is Warnock is probably the best option to keep us safe.

If we are around mid table by the next window I think its time for change.

Last 2 windows have been a disaster.

Sceptical in the summer - even more so now. Today we made Reading look like Man City.

There are number of possible answers to your question, but with the summer signings we've seen and the poor selection/management of them, we are stuck with it.

I just can't see Warnock changing anything in his methods or game plans. To me it was a shambles of a selection for the game in the first place. Mendez was clearly unfit - Hoilett offers very little in the way of a threat - Vaulks was painfully slow and Bacuna didn't have a clue.

Admittedly Pack going off was a blow, but Patterson needs to lose a stone and was way off the pace again. Putting Vassell on at half time seemed positive but both he and Glatzel were abandoned by our midfield - that's where our problems lie.

Desperation measures rarley win games and it didn't this time - nowhere near an acceptable performance all round from both players and management.

The decision to let Damour go to Hearts looks a poor one as well. Id rather him alongside Ralls than Vaulks or Bacuna.

Warnock is set in his ways and been in the game to long and should retire at the end of the season. He is a nice man who's career has had many ups and downs which results make him an average to below average as he gets older.....He must have made a few bob in all the years he has been in the game so he should think about retiring while there is still time to enjoy his fruits of his labour. Very predictable now but i wish him well....

Now having slept on it I have come to the unavoidable conclusion that this squad is just not conducive to competing in this league.

I stated after scraping past a Luton team who had so much possession and had lively quick players, that once we come up against a team better than them, then City would be found out.

Our statuesque sluggish defence and one paced midfield are ripe for the picking by quick and skilful attacking midfielders and forwards.

The only saving grace is that we’re only 3 games in so the blindingly obvious deficiencies can be addressed. If it continues then we are in for a season of transition before the club appoint a new manager.

What concerns me is that Warnock has been touted as the person to choose his successor. That is a worry for he’s likely to suggest a carbon copy of himself!
