We are playing effectively 3 defensive midfielders in ki Shelvey and Hayden.

Ki is slow as hell. Not a premiership player.

Shelvey even slower and he try’s to do the killer pass because he so slow. In addition his positional sense is even worse.

Hayden is ok but doesn’t want to play for us.

Almiron looks like Forrest Gump. He just runs with the ball like a hot potato.

Joelinton who cost 40 million couldn’t lace Rondons boots. He scored 7 league goals last season and we spunk 40 million on him.

Bottom line is Bruce was Farked up the arse with tactics yesterday. Expect to see that regularly this season.

 

100%. Bruce just doesn't get modern football. The fact he's playing the same formation he used at Palace a lifetime ago says it all. Nobody has a 'role', and the lack of understanding is there for all to see.

I genuinely cannot see Bruce getting a win. Like McLaren, he'll be fired. Like McLaren, we all knew what was coming. Like McLaren, only two people in the entire world thought Bruce was a good idea and - despairingly - they're the only people who have a say in NUFC.

This season will eclipse all those before it; with two relegation efforts we had Shearer then Hughton stepping up, latterly Rafa stood by us. Who's going to come this time, knowing that Steve "who?" Nickson is picking the players and Penfold's wielding all the power? Nobody. The problem for us is not just that we have Ashley, but we have Ashley when everything is about to spectacularly implode. His obsession with the failing High Street coupled with running Sports Direct AND NUFC on utter shoestrings means everything around him is failing, and failing hard. The worst thing is, like with Philip Green, those who suffer will be 'customers' and 'staff', whilst he swans off into the Sunset still with £500m in his sky-rocket.

 

Pukki looked good against Liverpool and even better better yesterday. We spend £40m on a CF when we could have had Rondon for £16m yet Norwich got Pukki on a FREE from Brondby.

 

Bruce will fail. I promise you. We will get relegated this season. The teams that came up are better teams.
