Behind again. Third time in 4 games this season that we've gone behind. Let's hope we turn it around again though.

Worst 45 minutes I have ever witnessed from Swansea. Was going to give the first half performance 0/10 but seeing as we scored (God knows how), I will give it 1/10.

Bonkers few minutes there but we held on for the win. 4th in table after 3 games and an unbeaten start. Can't complain about that.
Leeds away in a few weeks is looking huge.

Baston is firing up early, which will be a big confidence boost for him, and no way will we part with him now, would be idiots to let him go back to Spain, lets get our moneys worth, he and Ayew should bag a considerable number of goals this season.................<ok>

The Yanks must keep them both until the January window - if we are there or thereabouts, they stay for the season. The yanks will only make a return / get they outlay back via promotion. They've surely got to understand that you've got to speculate to accumulate .........

Yet again we were poor starters and are pushing our luck....Cooper must sort this out and quick as we wont keep being the comeback kings......Overall PNE were the better team but failed to capitalize something we know all about in the past. A Good 3 points that sends us up to 4th and we have goal scorers now but we must sort out our first half performance...

Great start to the season and with every goal he scores the better Baston will get, unless we sell him in the next 2 weeks <whistle>

    Just saw the highlights :
    https://www.skysports.com/football/swansea-vs-preston/409382

    My thoughts :

Prestons first goal was similar to Hulls goal against us - a shot that I feel the keeper should have saved. Not really impressed with him so far.

Just like the Derby match - that was never a penalty - it was a 50/50 ball that Conor Roberts went for and he happened to be the stronger of the pair - nothing wrong with it. Two penalties against us and both wrong decisions in my book.

Baston seems to have found his taste for goals at last, his second was a fantastic header - there was little pace on the cross and he managed to generate a lot of power with that header. Excellent from him - 3 goals from 3 league games already, let's hope we get to keep him and he keeps up this form.

The statistic is that in 2019 we've only lost once at home - that was the cup match against Man City - and even in that match we were robbed of an earth shattering victory by yet more bollocks officiating. If we can keep that run going we will be challenging at the top of the table come the end of the season.

I see the Leeds match as something that could have a huge effect on our season. If we can get something out of that match, I think the players may start to believe we are the real deal this season. I'm not saying we have to get points from the game, but if we come away knowing our performance warranted more then that will do - a bit like the Man City match really - we deserved more. Leeds will obviously get what will be (at least) the third terrible penalty decision given against us this season anyway, so we must prepare for that.

I was behind the left back who scored , it took a deflection and wrong footed him , not taking anything away from Preston who were clearly the better side with their high press ( strange then that they dispensed with that system until the last ten minutes of the game when it had worked so well for them ) we played against 12 men today, with a ref who was so inept he was a s bad as our performance but we got better he didn't.
