Bloody hell, not our afternoon! Purple patches, not taken our chances, but there is time left. A draw will be welcome.
At least we have more excitement than previous seasons!

Time for Judge to show up, and give his best. Can he turn this one round?

Judge is playing for himself right now, taking shots when he should pass.

Why on earth are we playing two up top away from home, when midfield is our strongest position in the squad? Jackson was clearly not cut out for Championship football, and he doesn’t seem comfortable at League One level either. Hopefully he pops up with an injury time equaliser, but this game was screaming out for an extra man in midfield and trying to control the match.

Well taken header, but what a delivery from El Mizouni’s corner! Maybe we should start him for the set piece deliveries, an area we’ve struggled over the past year.

Result I would have taken at start of day. Norwood off the mark. 5 points from a possible 9. Need to captilse more on our fast starts, turn the leads into victories.

Still not confident we have a coherent plan for the season though.

Yes he may have scored the equaliser but he's still very much in the debit column with the amount of points he has cost us! He's a bloody liability!

Nice, a lucky draw in the end.

We didn't play particularly well, lots of rushed play and long balls forward. We really need to learn how to control the ball and the play more.

Holy - decent game but gives you some heart in mouth moments when playing out with his feet
Kenlock - poor, I feel that Garbutt will end up at LB when other midfielders are back from injury
Chambers - poor clearance for the second goal, made up for it with a header at the end
Woolfenden - clearly the best and most commanding of the centre backs
Donacien - soon to be replaced by Kane Vincent-Young, didn't have a poor or good game really
Edwards - lively enough for his second game
    Skuse - solid today
Downes - the same, didn't dictate play too much but did nothing wrong either
Rowe - the best of the wingers, just needs a better final ball
Jackson - sorry but I can't see him scoring any time soon
Norwood - did ok, took a poor penalty and was obviously getting frustrated with the service as the game wore on

Judge - not great today and not a starter at the moment. Took too much on himself and was selfish too often
El Mizouni - got involved in the game but couldn't make much happen. Great corner for the second goal

Overall, we need to improve further if we want to stay in the top six

The biggest liability is Judge and Jackson, both seem to be hopeless so far this season but there's a lot of matches to play so we hope for an improvement from the pair of them, otherwise get rid.

Yeah, can’t argue with that. I’d personally drop Jackson and look to use our attacking midfielders. I don’t think Jackson is the right player and I don’t think 4-4-2 is working, because it’s forcing us to play direct football and the team doesn’t seem suited to it. I would much prefer Skuse and Downes anchoring, or maybe Huws and Downes back there, and then give Edwards, Rowe, Judge, and Norwood licence to go forward. I don’t know how long we should give Judge, clearly a talented footballer but is his heart in it? At least we’ve got the likes of Nolan and Bishop able to play that number 10 role if Judge’s form continues to be poor.

We could continue playing 4-4-2, but only on the basis that we get a good striker in over the next week. It’s clearly the last real remaining area we need urgent strengthening.

I will see you boys once the Ashes series is over! It's far more exciting than following this rubbish. Not you but our team! Mid table mediocrity again this season.

I suppose the upside to all this is that we have a lot of " first teamers " to come back which hopefully won't be long for some of them, but the basic problem of not scoring enough goals when we are in control remains but at least the defence should be better when the new lad starts.

I'm fairly pleased with how we've started, it's my no means perfect but given our situation in terms of injuries, lack of squad depth, poor form for then past 2 years, lot of inexperienced players and lots of players still not match fit, I don't think 5 points from those games is a bad total.

We really need at least one more striker, I can't believe we only have 2 fit strikers, if we don't get another one in we can write our season off. Imagine if Norwood got injured!!

Given the constraints we've been under I think it's a pretty good start. If we get a couple more good additions and we get players back and match fit and don't suffer anymore serious injuries I think we'll be in for a good season. But the squad is struggling as it is currently

We’ve got a result away from home. We’re three games in and unbeaten. If we make the play offs this season that will surpass my expectations given the lack of investment. It doesn’t look as though a drop down another level is on the cards. I will take that.

The only person who we should be aiming our criticism toward is the owner in my book.
