I thought there was a moment during the first 25 mins of the second half where we totally lost control of the game but otherwise I think we did nit disgrace oiursekves. but for a defensive error and Ings slotting in at the end, the result could have been different. Interesting to see Adams play for the first time. He looks good and I think Ings will ave some work to do to get a regular place. Romeu was excellent but thought JWP had a quiet game. The defence showed once more why more radical surgery was needed in the summer but it was not the pasting I had anticipated and plenty of promise. There are two talking points for me. How on earth did the stats have Liverpool having 64% possession in the first half ? (I would have believed it if it was the other way around. ) Secondly, I don't think Liverpool will finish second this year and will finish a long way behind the two Manchester clubs.
Not just the fact we didn't get off the mark in a game, that was set up for us to take advantage. But L'pool just created some winning stretch record on our turf. Eww. But Ralph's selection was pretty spot on, and a few of ours will learn from this game. Give Brighton not an inch, because they will destroy the weekend if we do. ______________________________- And next.......
Liverpool were there for the taking. Gutted we didnt take advantage, trust be told, and we certainly deserved at least a point.

The last thing we need is you mass debating all over the forum.
Mane is my fav of the leavers. Just love watching him strut, although painful when against us. Some of the pundits have been such dicks about his time with us, and pretending l;pool gambled on him. That boy is quality, and just look what he does off the pitch. He's taken a leaf from our Yoshi. Class.
Looked like Bednarek, but not watched the replay. Valery letting the ball bounce when retreating towards goal is something which needs to stop
Defending for their 2nd goal was shocking ... who are we blaming today? ------------------------------------------------------ The ref, wind, var, some twat for picking saints in their fantasy team, 3pm kickoff, China's 5G......and lastly them freaking nobs from up north stealing all our talent. Hope that covers it.
Thought the subs we're all good, and turned the game back in our favour. I like Armstrong a lot. He's definitely our closest Davis-type player.
