Anyone there? I enjoyed some good days out back in the day watching us at Brentford when I lived in London.
They've very good at it as well, they made sixteen signings this summer, including some very good players, funded by the sale of just three of theirs.
Disappointed with the Batty for Honeyman switch, I know he had a decent game at Tranmere, but we're not playing Tranmere and he looked terrible against Reading. Much rather have seen Fleming for Kingsley.
I think Batty and Stewart have been the pick of the midfield 3 so far this season. It is very harsh on Batty.
Where does the time go, that doesn’t seem like 30 years ago? As bad a shambles regarding tickets, though that was down to the police incompetence and restrictions placed on East Stand capacity and entrance as much as anything.
We lost to Liverpool the round before Brentford lost to Liverpool in 1989, Brentford equalling the furthest they had got when they played us in 1971.
It's been funded by their owner, but ultimately I assume it will be paid for by selling the existing ground for new homes.
