I hope the lad has a great day and that his Dad remembers who the special day is for And don’t be upset when he asks you who the two giddy old men were that drove him to the match!! How old is he?
Would be more excited if I was going to see the new Tarantino movie, frankly. Doing that tomorrow, so in the meantime - UTS. Please.
Sadly it’s been made very clear what the mascot does alone and what a parent is allowed to be a part of . I think I get to go in the ‘Saintsmobile’ with him and Frannie though! I realised he wouldn’t know who Frannie was, so I contrived a way to show him some videos yesterday...turns out there aren’t too many highlight reels of his skills one video was 9 seconds long and entitled ‘Francis Benali drips the c-bomb’ He is 6 years old and mad about football and the Saints...we came down for two games last season and after the second game, we were still waiting outside the ground after 7pm as he wanted photos with the players and we heard Ralph hadn’t left yet, so he wouldn’t leave until he had a photo with him too! Fair play to Saints and Virgin Media as they have put an awesome package together for him...he is going to have a great day today!!!
Ah that's brilliant, I'll never forget the excitement I had going to the football as a kid. Have a fantastic day mate. Come on you saints!!!
Best movie I’ve seen in a while Slow burner and a great homage to late 60s Hollywood DiCaprio and Pitt are great Im not giving anything away by saying a very Tarantino climax
I read that Suarez missed a sitter in the first half where, apparently, it was easier to score than hit the post.
I would love to see a repeat of the legendary 4-1 demolition of Liverpool at the Dell in 1989. (I think!) Still one of the best Saints performances I have ever seen.
I`d expect a 6`7" CB to pitch in with 2-3 goals per season. I don`t remember the Great Dane even coming close, not at the opposition`s end anyway. But today`s the day ! - you heard it here first !
If L'pool are as tired as me today, then we should go balls out all guns blazin & just try to annoy them for 90 mins, and see if lady luck even remembers our name. Come On Saints!
About to start the journey down from Norwich. For various reasons this will be the first home game I’ve been to for a couple of seasons now. Hoping for a good performance, a lively atmosphere and for all the Liverpool keepers to be injured before the game. COYR!
Ever the optimist , I have just put a cheeky bet on Yoshida to score first in Saints win as part of a scorecast.....score 4-2! If that comes in wow I will be one happy man. In reality if they put in a good performance that will do for me today.
3-2 2016, the comeback. Watched in O'Casey's in The Hague. I upset a couple of Chinese 'pool supporters with my exuberant celebrations, they were saying "to much, to much" I came back with "no 3-2, 3-2". They left in a huff when I starting singing "I support my local team". Happy day that, we'll be a the same venue today hoping for a similar result.
