I'm back. Yes we can make it 3 out of three in the league. Kept up to date last weekend by my people and again on Tuesday night. Both good results. My grandaughter kept up her 100% record of never having seen Argyle lose on Tuesday. Memo to secretary....."must get her a season ticket soon". You can do the rest cause I'm knackered. COYG
I expect Joel Grant will still be sidelined.....the other question is did Josh Grant do enough Tuesday evening on his debut to be first choice for our defence....he has the advantage of being quick....which has been a major problem in the past for us.....I cannot think that Ryan Lowe will change anything else. I expect Alex Palmer to be back in goal.
Newport got to the play-off final last season so presumably they have something about them. Still, we're on the crest of a wave so fear no one. Don't they have a very poor pitch owing to a ground share with a rugby club? That won't help us playing in this new style.
There pitch did get improved with an FL grant....and of course there has been no rugby played as yet in August....so should be ok.
Team Palmer, Sawyer, Canavan, Wooton, McFadzean, Riley, Mayor, Edwards, Sarcevic, Telford, Taylor. Subs Cooper, Baxter, C Grant, Lolos, Randell, T Moore, J Grant.
Frustrating. Possession to die for and loads of shots even if not on target. We should do better with all that going for us and not scoring when you are on top is asking for trouble.
Hate to say it but told you so. Life is cruel. When you don't want to be right you are very often but whenever you seriously want to be wrong it seldom works out that way. Bleddy Welsh.
Maybe we've got a striker coming in....we seem to need one .......so much possession and no end result.
