Just out of curiousity, why do you think Cabaye will score so reguarly?

lol i've only put him down for two goals in that lot mate.

I think he will score around 6/7 this season, which isn't that much, but a good amount for a midfielder. I think he will score goals because he has a ****ing beasty shot on him, apart from the QPR game he's had a couple of great shots on target each game that have forced saves, won us corners and one got us our first goal vs Fulham and without it we wouldn't have won

I reckon Cabaye will get 6/7 goals and 9/10 assists

He has all the ability, he's just getting used to the league but he's gradually getting up to speed.

He was great in the Sunlun and Fulham games, and made some great passes in the QPR game and set up Besty for that shot in the first 10 mins.

 

I can't work out whether that was a slant on my comment or sarcasm. Damn the devoid of tone on the internet!

Since we're Newcastle I'm expecting us to do well against Tottenham despite probably being written off, but then lose to Wigan straight after.

I think we have a better chance drawing to spurs than to Villa. Villa have been another dodgy team for us, haven't we lost like 4 times in a row to them at their place? Sure feels that way. Certainly the last 3, I remember when Bouma (!) returned from retirement and scored in a 4-1 loss or so. On current form though, none of the next 4 teams are exactly on fire, can change of course. Villa have been drawing a lot, Blackburn are a mess and Spurs are yet to find some kind of form. So just looking at the fixture, let's all be glad. Draw would suit me fine at Villa. Don't see it though, we've been riding our luck hard lately. And we need to stop playing 2 up front, it's not working at all. From the next five I see a lot of draws coming up. Be disappointing if we can't beat Blackburn at the moment, but they're our nr 1 dodgy team aren't they?

Sunderland vs Stoke should be an interesting one too. If Scumberland lose this, they're in an early season crisis.

Not a bad little run of fixtures though. Blackburn and Wolves are definately winnable. I think we'd have been better playing Spurs earlier as I can see them getting their act together now. Wigan we should beat, and Villa away will be another 'grind out a point' I suspect.
