Had a bit of time to kill so decided to jump in with my first matchday thread of the new season, enjoy Before you read on though, here's a bit of fun for ya courtesy of Delia and.......Eddy Grant, mint !! We're back to an old fashioned Sat 3pm kick off time which means no box telly watching via sky or bt, some of us have other means of course. Those travelling to the game might wanna check out NUFC.com for the latest travel update as there appear to be some disruptions which may affect your journey. Following on from our opening day defeat we head to Carrow Road in search of what appears to be a very elusive 3 points to obtain, you have to go back to 4th Jan 1994 and our 2-1 away win there courtesy of goals from Beardsley and Andy Cole...obviously they've been out of the Premium League a fair bit since, still not a very happy hunting ground for us. Steve Bruce has virtually a full squad to pick from hoping to correct all that, current treatment room occupants being LeJeune, Yedlin and Carroll, Shelvey has been seen training this week dashing everybody's hopes of him not making the matchday squad. Referee for this encounter is Stuart Twattwell off of Warwickshire who took charge of our 3-0 home win over Cardiff as well as our 1-0 home loss to Palarse. Neil Davies will be on VAR duties should it be needed. Enjoy the game peeps, we'll do well to come away with a point so I'm going for a 2-2 draw (Joe Linton and Almiron)
I think Carroll has moved into the treatment room but just until he can buy his own hospital. The season starts here - 3-1 to us.
Lawrenscum reckons Pukki won make double figures this season. He made a good start by scoring at Anfield. Let's hope it's a good game, always liked The Toon.
4-2 high pressing game. Joelinton, Schar and Ritchie, one of whom will get 2. Almiron to get his first assist via a rebound of his arse. Only one 'fan' on here Saturday night, talking bollocks about how good the attack was in some deep mythical past (well Sunday morning for him). Win next week as well and with luck, he'll go walkabout.
How you watching the game Crone, you using Iptv? My latest provider is missing a few foreign channels but I'm lost for what sites you go on these days if I can't get it on there.
Rafa: we're not a stepping stone. We're Newcastle United Brucie: hopefully we'll nick a point at Norwich
Just can not get use to the name Steve Bruce being involved with nufc. I think we just aren’t a team. Get beat. 2 nowt
