    I am still on the fence
    One of the commentators alluded to it
    Saying they did not want to overrule ref on her big night.

    They then tried to swing it by saying that VAR didnt have the angle they had.
    She should at least have gone had a look when the ability too is there

    Handball wasnt handball, simple as.
    But that never ever a pen

    Happy to win it, but still think we could have done without this game. Especially extra time, who needs that in a midweek match in Turkey?

    On a side note, before the last pen was taken, I thought it was a strange decision by Fat Frank to have Abraham take the 5th - such a high pressure kick should have had an older head behind it, imo.

    Trophies is a habit :bandit:<rofl>
    None are tin pots and i have been very consistent on this.
    Winning a shootout is nice for the team too.
    Is it something to go on about, no, but much better to win it, gutted about shield, but great character tonight.

    Need to pack in this whiny attitude the players seem to be developing.
    Plus side
    Salah tried to make a lot of through balls tonight
    Mane looks sharp
    Adrian looks ok

    Think we could suffer on Saturday as a result of a long game with a lot of travelling. Chelsea were lucky as it was never a penalty, but overall teams were about equal.

    Think Chelsea were probably the better team over the course of the match. We didnt look sharp or hungry. Its a sign to win when not playing 100% but hoping we tighten up as a unit. Cut open at times!
