So that would mean we are ok for PL, but that wouldn't help with CL. I guess that is bad news for GKN or Wanyama (or, god forbid, Eriksen). Also not sure where Llorente would fit in without outgoings.
No he can go on list B for the CL as he has been with us for 2 years. That wasn't the case before. Sessegnon counts as U21 in the PL but not in the CL.
My main takeaway from this is that there's a lot of tax-dodgers sponsoring Premier League clubs please log in to view this image
Leaving aside the massive gap between the top six and everyone else, you'd have to question Wolves and Brighton. The former for being unusually large for a promoted club with dodgy owners and the latter for being unusually low. Does it fail to include the stadium sponsorship or are they just getting a **** deal?
In Brighton's case it's definitely tied to the naming rights of their stadium, considering how low the figure is for Leicester as well
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49294235 "The 12-year £100m deal includes naming rights of the stadium and training ground, as well as shirt sponsorship." So Brighton's deal is worth about £8.3m a year.
I think the club were so desperate to get their own ground by then that and were were only a Championship side that it was the best they could get. Basically, stadium naming rights with shirt sponsor thrown bin for free. Anyway, American Express are the biggest employer bin the city (but still very small). It's a city of small businesses and service industry. People think it is a rich place ( along with the rest of the South East) but jobs are poorly paid and transport links suck. Wealth is mostly from people who retire down this way while those who work struggle to live with ridiculous property prices and rents.
