It's the 2nd round of the League Cup. What were people expecting? Chances of getting Pompey were slim. I haven't been to Craven Cottage so I'm happy with the draw. It's not very far to travel and the League Cup only really gets exciting if you get to the quarters.
To be fair it's one of my favourite grounds but it's just a bit dull cos they were in the Prem last year and we went there in the FA Cup before. I still might go though.
Given that the draw was split into North and South, it was always a good chance we would get a PL team or someone we've played recently.
Poor Celtic. Well the comforting thought is that FC Porto, a club with a wonderful pedigree have also been dumped out of the CL and have to take their place in the Europe League qualifying. I think I would be quietly confidently of FC Porto qualifiying and progressing a long way in that tournament but as for Celtic they seem very fragile. Maybe, just maybe, Rangers usurping them as Scotland´s numero uno, will forcé them to reassess how the whole club is structured on the playing side.
I hope somebody "upstairs" realises that Pompey are due to play QPR, but not on the same night, surely?
Id have to bring the other half though, as im not allowed out on my own atm after a few recent "incidents" What date is it ?
Sala and Ibbotson exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide before crash...gets worse and worse from a health and safety POV, but hopefully means that they were unconscious at the time.
Can’t “like” this post, but it raises even more serious issues. In a light plane, particularly, there should be even less chance of getting carbon monoxide poisoning, I’d have thought. Worrying ......
I’ve just seen the JPT is now the glamorously named Leasing.com trophy. Sorry if mentioned but that’s a shocker.
