Most on here watch City more than I do but what is 'LJ' s style'?
Because I'm not sure at all.

Early doors in LJ's reign his high press 'style' was clear.
Since then his 'style' seems confused and different from week to week.
To you guys who watch regularly, am I being fair ?

Afobe could be a excellent signing, been talking to Stoke fans who reckon he will score loads for us,they say he was not played to his strengths.

Afobe only 26 scored for fun in Wolves promotion season and did well at Bournemouth.

    Stokes highest scorer last season.

A striker that can score loads in the championship better than Reid ,Hogan,Vydra.

    A step up on Fammy.

Let's hope he starts at Brum.

Is Wilfred Bony worth a punt? He is on a free and can come in immediately, although I fear his wage demands (amazing since he has no club.....) would be too much for us. The fact he is settling his family in Swansea would surely make us an appealing option for him?

Footballers are not like normal people. At the moment no one wanted him because of his wages. But it won’t dawn on him that he’s getting nothing at the moment so 10k a week is better than that. He would rather wait until someone wants him in January and demand a stupid amount yet again.

    Any news on Matty Taylor?
One moment he’s off to Oxford - then he’s not.
Is he going anywhere does anyone know?
Surely he can’t, now the window has closed? Isn’t it only unattached players who can sign for clubs now?

I dont know about selling but Prem and Championship can still loan out to teams in league 1 or 2. And Europe hence Manure hoping one of the European teams take Sanchez of them.

He doesnt need to wait until January. He's unattached to can be signed at any time.

You're correct though. Still sees himself as a £100k player.

Same happens with teenagers / early 20 year olds. Get picked up by big clubs, signed on big salaries, never make it, then can't drop down a level because they still want the big whack.

When will the footballing world wake up to who and what these players are when they are so demanding? I retired 15 years ago but I still expect my out dated skills to command an annual salary of at least 1 million and if you're not willing to pay that amount then I'm off somewhere else. Wake up sleepy heads and get a dose of reality to all those over estimating their value to society.

I've said before, I lived in your fair city for 10 years and have a bristolian daughter. Fortunately she was only 3 when we left so she doesn't have the accent. she has a Cheshire twang with a bit of welsh and brizzle mixed in.<yikes>

I've lived in England longer than I lived in Wales so might have mellowed a bit. Unlike most Cardiff footy fans I also like (and played - again in your fair city) rugby.

Don't underestimate me though RoD, I can be a twat when I want to be.

I’m posh Welsh, born in the Celtic manor but with a Gloucester / Bristolian accent. My day today working in the Cardiff office will consist of being “yeah but you’re English though aren’t you” :emoticon-0102-bigsm
