Thought I'd do a thread for the players we've got on loan and for the players in the U23s, so we can use this to update/track their progression in case anyone is interested.

Eddie Nketiah made his debut for Leeds United today against Salford City in the League Cup and scored the opening goal.

    Looking forward to his development.

Emery was reluctant to loan him out initially as he was in his plans for this season. But Nketiah wanted the loan to get more game time. Both player and manager are committed to his Arsenal future though. He could be another Ian Wright with the right development.

See my separate thread about him (sorry did not see this thread until now). Most loanees struggle for a while to get used to the Championship, he has slotted in quickly. Like his work rate as well as scoring ability.

Nketiah got another goal for Leeds yesterday, capitalising on a horrid kick from Stoke 'keeper Jack Butland. But he showed tremendous composure and intelligence to score.

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as Stoke won on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time.

However, I am glad to see he is taking his opportunity with both hands and I hope he will come back to Arsenal a much more refined player.
