TBF Infidel, he's dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't... We should have had the game well wrapped up by then...
Would think it was more to do with not training with the club, having to move house etc. Unless Clark gets his early last season form back, can see him dropping out of the squad, as Costa plays on the right.
Now I'm confused. I thought I read on here that the 5 loans only applied to 'home' loans, and Meslier didn't count in the tally as he was an 'International' loan. Or was this just for signing loans only, with different match day rules? Anyone know?
Not according to this: Why Eddie Nketiah is not in the Leeds United squad vs Nottingham Forest https://www.football.london/arsenal...r.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar
Think they may be right - though obviously that is a bit of a clickbait site as there is no way that's the reason he wasn't in the matchday squad yesterday when he hadn't even had a single training session with the team yet. If it is the case that can only have 5 then suspect in short term that we'll just make a call as to whether we'd rather have the outfield players and put Miazek as reserve keeper. There is this in the rules though 54.4.3 Temporary Loan Transfers may include an option to acquire the Player’s registration by way of permanent transfer. Any such option can be exercised at any time (including during a Closed Period). So if we do have an option to buy on keeper as his club has said then we could always exercise that at some point to get round it.
Don't believe everything you read, didn't someone read we were second last week when we were top. I read that WJ was right, and I hope he is, but one thing for sure, he wasn't out of the squad because he couldn't make the 5 best loan players.
I agree he wouldn't have been left out over this but the chances are we would want all 6 involved or at least on the bench so I am hoping they have got the entire story wrong and not just the reason for leaving him out
Don't remind me Shako I was at Histon, Rochdale & Sutton, thankfully I gave Newport a miss I'm at Salford tomorrow night, new ground for all the travelling fans, should be a good atmosphere for obvious reasons & I'm expecting us to win even with a weakened team. Looking forward to seeing our new signings plus our U23's who will play better football than the shambles who wore the white shirts in the matches I mentioned above
Experienced plenty of shocking games over the last fifteen years Enjoyed watching Leeds since Marcelo's arrival
Unfortunately 64 I could only watch Sir Don's teams on TV, but yes they were the best. It was only when I got older that I could get over and watch the side live.
