I was so happy for him when he scored. My interest won't end in him because he's still Welsh and he's just started life at the biggest club in the world.
He certainly had a warm welcome from the Old Trafford faithful. Personally I want to see him do very well as not only will the Swans benefit financially (I assume!) but it will also benefit Wales. Another Welsh Wizard hugging the touchline at Old Trafford is an enormous benefit to the country
I watched the game and i thought I heard the chant on the TV , must have been all those "die hard " supporters who've given up their seats at the Liberty out of protest at the yanks
He couldn't wait to leave so good luck to him but he's just another who had the good fortune to wear the shirt of Swansea City.
I still always keep an eye on former players and managers and hope they do well. That way we always get a mention
It was not that he couldn't wait to leave at all.. It was a fact that he was presented with a golden opportunity that he could not turn down....
Dai - it was the same in the January window. He couldn’t get up to Leeds fast enough He’d agreed terms, had his medical, met the Leeds players and was photographed in his Leeds shirt ..... Then Hubert went AWOL These are facts - direct from the family
I beg to differ : He did get to Leeds fast enough. The bigger question is WHY did he want to leave (for Leeds) as the Man U question answers itself ?
Dai - I had this directly from the family. His girlfriend had even given up her job down here. He was ‘gutted’ because the money was so much better at Elland Road..... but I bet he’s glad now that that move didn’t materialise given what he’s earning at United
Tammy Abraham missed his penalty in the Super Cup Final shoot out in Istanbul to hand Liverpool the trophy.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49332825
Excellent game I thought very open and imo Chelsea edged it imo it was only until Faminio ( he with the ultra whiter dentures) came on it the second half that Liverpool got a decent foothold in the game ,pity to lose on penalties but justice was done
