Never liked the expression scabs. Everyone is perfectly entitled to go or not go as they feel. Those that went can’t however complain IMO about Ashley and what he does and what he fails to do. There was an opportunity today to get a message across to Ashley. It’s all well and good saying that the boycott was never going to work which it was always doomed to not be 100% effective with fans having that attitude but what are those that attended but still want Ashley out doing to achieve that? If you’re not doing anything well more fool you. If no-one does anything then it’s not too surprising if nothing changes. Invariably if there is going to be change then it is because someone or some people did something to cause that change. The boycott may not work but at least some people are trying to cause change. I’m a firm believer that the intended Wolves boycott caused Ashley to do something and that this boycott and the season ticket sales contributed to Ashley breaking the Club transfer record even if we did only spend one half of our reported transfer budget. There are worse owners out there but to coin a phrase I just want a Club and a team that tries to win not one that tries to simply survive in the PL.
So! He could quite easily have spent nothing. Can’t bear this ****ing mentality that out vs in = no spend. That’s tantamount to lazy journalism in my book!
No its actually the truth ??? Or 6 million a year .. not good enough. Dont be a fooled ... this club deserves better hence why i havent gone since ashley ****ed keegan over. Others will continue and thats their choice , but maths is maths ?? You cant handle the truth ! So as others admit they lie to themselves .
Last year we had a profit in the summer transfer window of about £20m from memory, so quite a difference. Not good enough but better than last summer.
Its either good enough or its not imo.. its the full 12 years to review not the last 3 weeks. Until every fan really wants him gone he will be here.. a few more defeats and i sense more people will have had enough
As posted on the Match day thread I think there was a lot less there than the official attendance quoted but to start calling people names because they went to the game is poor really the directors area was particulary sparse the sides of the milburn side were empty as well level 7 has a huge gap between the Toon an Arsenal fans not normally there Leazes end there was lots of empty seats East stand there were patches of empty seats cannot say for the Gallowgate as it was too far away for my eyes
I think its frustrating that the fans cant just pull together and do whats required to oust ashley.. no need to call names i agree .. i hate when people get personal with me because if my different and less fashinable opinions , so im with you on that part mate
I wasn't being serious in calling them scabs I've got mates who were there, just kidding. Although I was disappointed it was so high, people can do what they like though. But it just shows no matter what we're served people will accept it
