Yep, because the transfer ban and losing other players as well as appointing a novice manager had no effect. It's all about the sale of Eden '**** helping the team' Hazard

If Chelsea actually had a striker and not Championship Abraham, he might have been tested today. Ultimately he didn't need to do anything. Wonder if Chelsea after the ban will actually look to solve their striker issues, which have been on-going since Drogba left.
Just watched the VAR decision in the wolves game and i have to say to me its totally correct and the law is right on that one, will be interesting what pundits say
Yep, it was a correct decision. Lets be honest, before VAR most of us would have been screaming handball if that goal was scored against us.
Not that I want to defend a Manc but I'm more interested in your selective stat use, which backs up my long-held contention that it's not stats which can tell you anything, it's people interpreting them. (Ah, those happy days of defending Lucas, who "always passed backwards and sideways.") Interceptions 4 Clearances 7 Headed Clearances 5 Anybody would rather have a defender do these before he has to tackle and risk a foul in front of goal. I believe some pundits refer to it by the vague measurement of "reading the game." To contrast and compare, the same VVD stats: Tackles 3 Successful 50/50s 0 Interceptions 5 Clearances 3 Headed Clearances 0 VDV also slightly wins on aerial battles, though of course these are all very small sample sets and any decent statistics interpreter knows the folly of drawing conclusions from small sample sets. And it would seem likely that Maguire would have more to do against Chelsea than VVD against Norwich.
