We have to create more chances to score more goals. Atm the players go on the pitch as if they are half asleep and do not rouse themselves until we are a goal down.

    Something has to change!

This is the question, and Ross has not convinced for some time now that he has the answer, I have yet to see one game under his tenure where we have convinced over a full 90 minutes, just about every game has been a nail biter, often riddled with mistakes from players an management alike, even against some of the poorer teams in the division. They all seem to out muscle us, the team has no real backbone or adequate quality in key positions, some people think we have the players to do it, they may be right but its obvious we are badly lacking in coaching ability or real leadership. The only thing saving JR is that most fans desperately want stability having gone through Short slash and burn era, and that is why I think we should give him till Xmas and hope that he is learning the right lessons from his mistakes, and we look like we are turning the corner on the pitch.

I agree Xmas , give him a chance, but realistically reading other forums etc not many come back from where Jack is.
Would have been so much different had he sent a team out to smash Oxford and a point yesterday, sadly he looks fooked.

Hmmm unless their us a quick turn around in performance..the conclusion must be Ross cannot organise or motivate what is for L1 a decent set of players.

Last season the reasons why at the end things went tits up, was Maja leaving and his goals not being replaced, fixture congestion and injuries at the end of the season meant sub-par performances.

Atm those excuses are not present... over to you Donald

stick Ozturk next to Willis at CB
either Onien or McG right back
Either Hum or Gooch left back
and teach BigJohn how to kick a ball to one of our players

Ozturk looked better than Flanagan when he got a run last season, I don’t understand how Flanagan’s got ahead of him, his strength and Willis’s pace would be our best combo.

I have no idea why Melville continuously gets overlooked. Him and Kenny Cunnigham are by far our strongest CB pairing

Ross needs to change the system to suit his best players IMO.

McGeady and Maguire are our two biggest creative threats, you have to play them in their natural positions, on the wings.

Instead, he's playing with wing backs, neither of which have ever done it before. Gooch is a midfielder and Hume is a kid

It's not working, change it Jack otherwise you'll be gone before Haloween.

Absolutely. Same last season. We were very poor on the number of shots on target we had but only 3 or 4 scored more than us! We score goals when we get chances. That’s great. But we don’t create chances!! Imagine how it’d be if we had 4 or 5 good opportunities each game

Denis Smiths' red and white army!!!

Keep the faith lads, smithy is just still finalising his starting 11. Weve got Agboola to come back from injury yet. Him and Agnew will tear this league a new asshole.

Definitely worth a try. Ozzy was our only solid central defender 2nd half of last season, the rest were gash.

Mind, it wasn’t an inspiring debut by the new legendary No 9 , I saw Tony Cunningham and Billy Ashcroft , other legends have better debuts
