Off to Musselburgh today, great weather for it!

I've been following Tim Easterby recently, he's been in decent form and he's sent 4 up all in with a chance. Will probably put them in a L15 with singles on course.

Main fancy of the day though is Kwanza(10/3) in the first for Mark Johnston, has to be the most in form trainer around at the moment and always take note when he sends them up here. He sends up 2, his other is odds on in the 2:40 so would need to fancy him for a double.

Any thoughts on the card most welcome.

Ballymount in the first , was given this a few weeks ago with two other easterby horses , they all got backed , none won that time , the other two have since won , could be his day today !
Bryan Smart is in good form and he has two very progressive types there today in Proper Beau and Northernpowerhouse , both can be fancied , another trainer sending a horse a long way , in form and shrewd to boot is david menusier , with Dragons Voice , likes soft ground and is also progressive .
In the last have a look at alastair whillans horse Lyford , stable very. shrewd and have kevin stott booked , a very strong young jockey , good luck mate , hope i haven’t cursed these horses !!!

Zeshov looks a good price in the first at 14s. Great course form, on a decent mark and won't be fussed by the ground. In the 3:40 Dragons Voice should go very close, currently around 4/1.

A few for today, all with the same rider, but different course's... All three runners are to be ridden by Jason Hart, and I feel they all have a good chance of making the frame...

    Thirsk
    2:50 - Princess Palliser @ 6/1
    Haydock
    5:35 - Sarasota Bay @ 9/4
    7:50 - Contrebasse @ 11/2

    Cheers...<cheers>

I am sweet on TIME TO STRIKE (6/1) in the first at Newmarket. Has four lengths to find on the favourite but I think considerable improvement can be expected.

    hi fellas!

    thirsk,1 50:

ebony adams and mrs dukesbury are the "obvious" ones,at least market-wise,but the former has more on her plate today(higher class, penalty etc..),and the latter hasnt pulled any trees so far,so its maybe rather down to her top yard, that shes so short.that leaves CALLIPYGIAN as a viable alternative.her last form is beginning to look much better now,and she shouldnt be too far away here..

well, how wrong can i be?? the last two outsiders 1-2..

    thirsk,2 20:

probably only a handful to be honestly considered in this, but i d be careful with such prognostics, after that first race,lol..for me,BALTIC STATE has pretty solid form here, the best effort probably his debut run in third, and the winner has gone on to be a highly respectable 4th in the richmond stakes at goodwood.so,although beaten twice as a favourite,is high on the list here, with further progress very possible..

    musselburgh,3 10:

this can go to ORIONS BOW.his scottish stewards cup success is now 3 years ago,but hes tumbled down in the ratings since, and he bounced back to form two starts back.what makes him even more attractive, the third horse that day, poyle vinnie, has given the form a tremendous boost by winning a valuable handicap at goodwood last week.so,if forgiven his last run,has a major shout today, for an in-form yard.

Weird race is this one with most of the field not having good soft ground form. You have gone for one that does and he must go close. Good luck!

    musselburgh,3 40:

ULSTER is interesting here.although he flopped the last twice,he may have had excuses, and his last good run came here in april, where he was second to the very useful austrian school.goes off the same mark here, and still unexposed over this trip.

No good. I've had a little ew on Three Saints Bay 10/1 here at Thirsk. Ive backed it a couple of times this year already and it appears to have lost its way completely. Today's race isn't as tough as the last few it's been in so one last chance

The next race at Brighton looks quite a competitive one albeit not a quality one. Two that I thought looked ew value are Red Alert 11/1 & Michaels Choice 16/1. However because I can't decide and don't want to waste my winnings I'll just be watching and hopefully no regrets at 4:05
