So did we get loads of fans at the end of that season or not? Let us know once you've figured out between the two of you which narrative works best for playing down the support.
The attendance at Bruce's first game was 15,794 and that was before we'd bought Ehab's random number generator.
It's all about getting the right ones, forget the obvious brands, go for something more retro and individual.
They look a bit like bowling shoes. Remember that short lived fashion? The soles used to wear out after a couple of days.
I worked for JR Bean in Welton, picking cucumbers for a year, about 1980. The pay was piecework and I took home over £100 a week, which seemed like a fortune at the time.
Pot calling the kettle black. Note to youngsters, this expression relates to cooking over an open fire. Nothing to do with race.
But we got over 20000 in league 2,everyone remembers that!! Still couldn’t get over 20 until Cardiff either
This is a good question.much as I dislike the present pair.there has only been three decent owners that I can think of in fifty years. So the probability is we wont like the next ones either
It was. In1980 the averagewage was £5,720. In 2015 the averagewage was £29,934. Then, as now, wages in Hull were way below the national average so £100 was more than a lot of people with what were considered good jobs were getting,
Seems a well--reasoned assertion. Football gets ****ter by the day, and it has certainly got ****ter in the last ten years or so, and clearly that includes the Allamreich. You used to go to football on a Saturday to escape the boredom and dull routine of everyday life, to let off steam and support your club. Now the game has been ruined by money, it's been pimped out and taken hostage by the same types who have taken over Glastonbury and comedy. The very types of people you went to football to get away from in fact. We need to deflate football, get the money out of the game and return it to the type of sport it was for 90% of the c20. Then we would get more of a level playing field, more people supporting their local team, less cheating in the game and hopefully footballers who more honest, less shallow and vain, than players these days. It would become more of an edifying spectacle again instead of the parade of narcissistic entitled ponces pretending to fall over to gain advantage, in front of a fawning neutered crowd. At least the Allams have realised is full of ****s, and have decided to get their money out , which they are doing slowly and steadily as they deflate our club. We have a squad capable of challenging for promo from League 1. Only a crazy fool would write a blank cheque to a football club, most rich men want to take not give. The Allams are a lot more thorough than most owners, certainly than our previous ones who bungled it and got burnt. This lot are taking fixtures and fittings, the lot. They want their money back and they're going to get.it. Surely that's clear to all? It's what most football owners (try to) do.
I'm not 50 yet so are trainers still OK ? Seriously though , wear trainers or a replica shirt or bowling shoes or a bow tie or whatever you want , I don't get the idea that because you don't personally like it nobody should do it No new owners btw
