Gotta admit, the way Derby are handling their business over the last few seasons is really impressive and just makes our shower of **** that bit more difficult to accept.

To have decent owners with ambition again...

 

No it’s not. They’ve spent disgusting amounts of money and pulled every trick in the book to bend the rules.

The way Burnley handle their business is impressive.

 

Maybe we’re trying for more centre backs than keepers?

 

Burnley punch well above their weight....No offence to BFC and their fans, but its a tiny place. Yet, they seem to have done very well for the past couple of years, that said they couldn't compete against Aston Villa when it came to Tom Heaton who left them for big bucks.

 

Maybe plenty of centre backs might push Burke to right back and Lichaj to the left

 

Doncaster fans seem to be taking the news of our bid for Ben Whiteman very well

 

Nobody tells...

 

Because they go about their business impressively.

And I’m sure they could compete, just won’t. Heaton was no longer numero uno over there anyway I don’t think.

 

We were linked to Henegan when he was at Motherwell 2 years ago. Would be a decent signing but we need more in attack.

 

Rubbish, they've spent shed loads over the last few seasons, probably bent the funding rules, and........not got promoted time and time again.

 

How on earth can they pay that amount and still remain within ffp regs ?

 

Being a player/coach splits the salary 50/50 between playing and coaching salary apparently.

 

Because the sponsors are paying it and he will be down as a coach.

No arguments here with your summing up of the situation. Though, being honest, if our owners could have pulled off a similar stunt we would have been lauding it as a master stroke. However as that would never happen with these clowns in charge we are free to take the outraged moral high ground.
