Solid performance. My concern was Casilla coming for corners. All clubs saw it and will try to get many balls into the box. Douglas didn’t play well. I thought the summer would have ironed out his injuries, but I wonder now is it confidence.
White was outstanding and very refreshing to watch. Pity he isn’t a Leeds player. If he continues to perform well he will be snapped by premier team.
Hernandez tired in the end and lost the ball cheaply for their goal.
Have to agree. I always thought there was a 'keeping rule that if you come out for a cross, you only do so if you know you're going to get it. Casilla clearly hasn't got to that bit in the handbook yet. Could end up being our worst flapper yet. I'm quite serious when I say that Felix or Silvestri were more predictable & reliable. And they were anything but!

Douglas has disappointed me again. I thought he was on the way back to his old self pre-season, but it doesn't look like it. It's only been one game, so I'll give him every chance. But you mentioned the goal - now where was Douglas for that? I may be remembering it wrong, but I'm sure the final shot came from their right side. Which is where Douglas should have been bossing. Was he caught upfield? Nope. Last seen cowering in the 6 yd box, turning his back on the shot. I hate that more than anything else. It's total cowardice, and offenders should be fined 2 weeks wages for it.

I think people have been willing to give Douglas the benefit of the doubt based on his Wolves performances and the fact he was considered a great signing whose set piece expertise with his left foot would prove invaluable. Plus the fact he was injured early doors which hampered his Bielsaballing, so people gave him some slack and assumed it was only a matter of time before his best form reappeared.

Well he still looks a shadow of his former self and his set piece prowess has deserted him. Both Davis and Alioski should now be ahead of him in the pecking order.
