Good Morning. It's Tuesday 6th August, and here are the Leeds Utd headlines

    Bon Voyage to Roofe

Kemar Roofe was in Belgium yesterday undergoing his medical ahead of his 7m transfer to Anderlecht. The 26yo has agreed a 3 year deal with Vincent Kompany's team. Is 7m a satisfactory amount considering Roofe was entering the last year of his contract?

    Radrizzani goes shopping in Milan

Whilst we waited for the ink to dry at Lotto Park, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani had been in Milan, shopping for a replacement. Word soon filtered back to LS11 that our Italian matherick had found not one, but two players he could tick off from Bielsa's shopping list, both found at the San Siro Stadium.

Facundo Colidio is an Argentine International forward at U17 and U20 level. He has been with Inter Milan for two years, but is yet to make his debut. He has however appeared 31 times in all competitions for Inter’s Primavera last season, scoring 12 goals and creating six assists. Colidio (19yo) arrived from Boca Juniors for €7 million.

The second player is 20yo Ryan Nolan. He lived in Shannon, County Clare until he was eight-years old, at which time his family relocated to Spain. Whilst there, he caught the attention of a Inter scout who persuaded him to move to Italy on his 16th birthday. Last term he captained Inter's U19 side, and has also appeared in friendly games for the first team. Nolan is a Republic of Ireland U18 International.

Both player have agreed terms with Leeds, though negotiations continued into the evening at the San Siro regarding transfer fees.

    48 hours to deadline day

With the transfer window slamming shut in two days time, how many incoming transfers would you expect between now and then? Could we see Ryan Kent arrive on deadline day or is that too much to ask? Will the two signings from Inter be ready for the Championship? On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you with Leeds Summer dealings?

Morning all on this exiting day :emoticon-0148-yes:

I am expecting Ryan Kent to be announced in the next 36 hours as a full price purchase and to be fair this is the transfer Bielsa has been chasing all Summer. The Roofe cash will be used for this. Colidio and Nolan i fully expect to happen today and be loans with an option to buy and Colidio will not be cheap and will cost more than Kent. Young future stars are at a premium in Italy and we saw last week Moise kean 19yo went to Everton from Juventus for £37m. Colidio is a player Bielsa has followed from when a kid at Boca Juniors back in Argentina. Blonde Argie strikers seem to be a thing at ER and I expect a huge female fan club for the kid. We will also pick up a keeper but it will not be Blackman as Chelsea are not picking up the phone to Leeds Utd.

More players will be leaving and fully expect Nessy out of the door even though he refused to leave for a league 1 club over the weekend. He has been told he doesn't have a future. LDB, Anita and Cibicki will also be on the move

Morning all, the two Italian based players sound a gamble to me but Bielsa would have watched videos and no doubt requested them.

With all the sales this season of the U23 squad and big things expected from many who were sold I’ll no longer get excited about a player joining who isn’t considered good enough for the first team.

The Italian lads and Kent I’d be happy enough with for the squad ordinarily - in principle considering I’ve never seen either of the Milan lads.

Seems high risk strategy in terms of where the goals are coming from if/when paddy gets crocked.

I wonder how much the Casilla transfer, in particular his wages have upset the Leeds Utd cart horse.

If I was one of the better players at the club, and a new guy arrives on 4 x my salary and there are question marks about his ability, would I have the right to throw the toys out my pram? I wonder whether Roofe, Jansson, Clarke, Phillips are all thinking across the sane lines?

Good Morning to matt and co from a sunny Bardsey
With less than55 hours to deadline it would appear from Doc that we will get 2 youngsters from Inter and Ryan Kent from Liverpool'We will have to buy 2 of those as we have 4 loanees already
We still need a keeper Macartney for me Darlow is a clown prone to making mistakes on the other hand all our keepers do that!
Rooney going to Derby for a further pension
Seems like Gayle will be left at Newcastle but some have suggested he is toxic so perhaps we are better off without him

If we get these two players in from Inter Milan plus Ryan Kent, then for me the transfer window will have been a huge success.

The icing on the cake would have been to get rid of Casilla and replace him with a top quality keeper but all in all the squad looks strong (providing the aforementioned three new signings go through)

Morning all. It seems Marcelo likes to see a player thoroughly coached into his way of playing before putting him into the team. If Marcelo can improve Colidio as he usually does he is going to be some player.

Report: Lazio willing to sell Leeds-linked striker for just £6.5m

Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb have claimed that Serie A side Lazio are willing to offload striker Felipe Caicedo for a bargain £6.5million this summer, with Leeds continuously linked.

At the end of June, Italian outlet Imperio claimed Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds are very interested in signing the former Manchester City striker from Lazio. The 30-year-old powerhouse has entered the final 12 months of his contract.

Though his current contract situation would suggest he is surplus to requirements at Lazio, Caicedo was an integral part of Lazio’s 2018-19 campaign. He played 38 times in all competitions, scoring nine goals.

9 in 38 is hardly top striker form.

Hi mate I think you overstate the problem simply because in football everyone knows that a free transfer player demands a high wage especially when a player would have a price tag of over £10m.

When you think about the conversations about having no money, and club going backwards, and owner filling his pockets. How about the fact that last season we spent £7m on Bamford and this season we maybe signing a player for the same amount plus an Argentine striker for £8m and an Irish CB for £5m plus planned spending £15m on Costa

    Transfer Update******Transfer Update*****Transfer Update*****Transfer Update*****

Leeds have lined up Arsenal Striker Edward Nketiah IF they fail in their attempt to land Ryan Kent. Kent remains first choice, however, with the clock ticking Bielsa has earmarked the 20yo from Lewisham. He has represented England at U18-U19-U20 and U21 scoring an increadable 21 goals for his Country in 25 appearances.

He has played 7 times fr the Gunners, scoring once.

Several different sources including the YEP expect Leeds to make up to four signings in the next 48 hours.

Looks like Rooney is off to Derby for 80k a week.

Derby have found another loophole. Register Rooney as a player Coach and avoid FFP
